KATY, Texas – May 3, 2016 -- The National Hispanic Professional Organization (NHPO) Katy Chapter raised funds the months of February and March for Local Foster Youth. The Chapter partnered with Together We Rise, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of motivated young adults and former foster youth, to raise money for duffle bags stuffed with teddy bears, blankets, hygiene kits, and coloring books to be dispersed to Arrow Child & Family Ministries, a Christian Foster Care & Adoption agency.

A decorating party will be held at Bullritos Katy, 24441 Katy Freeway, Katy, TX 77494. This event is free to the public, and is family friendly, and will commence Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 10 am.  There will be information made available to those in attendance regarding foster and foster to adopt process.

NHPO Katy is dedicated to supporting local professionals, businesses, community and arts through awareness, volunteer support and fundraising efforts.
